    Greetings. I watch and appreciate the preaching. Today I don’t understand the mixed metaphors used: Prayer is the fuel… Word is the foundation? Fuel and foundation have no parallel connections on which to form a mental picture. When “fuel” is used, then the gas pump would be an appropriate comparison? Or if “foundation” is to be utilized, then a construction/building comparison would be appropriate. The lack of a parallel looses the strength of the important point being stressed! Not a complaint, but a suggestion for consideration. Love and respect.

    that is what I love about Church, people that, in our worldly state, we would not ever meet or associate with, become treasured friends bonded by being in Christ. How sweet when, feeling lowly and worthless, to go to Church and feel the love and fellowship of fellow believers.

    Simple words with such depth of meaning but do we take that in the literal sense? I should sell everything, my home, cars, and stuff, and adopt basically close to a homeless lifestyle. Liquidate all my savings for retirement, emergency funds, and misc. money and give that away to the less fortunate so I can become less fortunate. There will be no inheritance to my future generations. Solidify my earthly relationship with JC my savior and prepare fully for a future eternity in God's Kingdom.

    "We don't know who the ones Jesus died for"? Jesus died not only for our sins but the sins of the whole world. Or do you mean we dont know who is actually saved?

  • @richardnewell8478
    @richardnewell8478 6 місяців тому

    There's a huge problem with saying "they were never saved to begin with". That means they were unbelievers THE WHOLE TIME and this goes against verse 20 unless you truly believe that unbelievers can escape the defilements of the world through the knowledge of Jesus Christ (and using a simliar passage, Hebrews 6:4-6 you also agree that unbelievers can be enlightened, taste the heavenly gift, share in the Holy Spirit, and taste the goodness of the word of God). This cannot be. There are tons of passages in the new testament that disagree with the idea of once saved always saved. Lots of verses with conditions. Take John 3:16, it applies to those who believe - that is a present ongoing tense - those who go on believing. It doesn't apply to someone who only believed at one point in the past. That being said, I don't think someone loses their salvation like they lose their car keys; God doesn't set us up for failure. We have to actively proceed down a path to a point where no longer believe and actively reject God.

    covenantvid 1 year ago You cannot lose salvation as God will bring that salvation to fruition in your life. However, people may appear to us to have salvation and yet fall away in sin, because they never had it to begin with. _______ So you're telling everyone here watching you that you NEVER sinned again post belief in Christ?

    If you had a next door neighbor that fathered all ten of your children while you were working, and you had DNA tests to prove it, these people would say that you have to stay with your wife, raise and pay the bill for the other guy's kids, suffer the shame, and endure the gossip for good reason, the dirty looks of everyone at church, and the uncleanness of it all, all just because these people are nuts. Simply believe that Matthew 19:9 and Matthew 5:32 mean what they say, and say what they mean, and God did not add anything else to His Holy Bible more than what you can clearly see and read for yourself, with your own two eyes, and understand with your own mind. These verses harmonize perfectly well with the other verses in the Bible, about marriage and divorce.

    The other thing He did is make her clean. She would not have been allowed in the temple and would have been considered unclean for 12 years. It was even against the law for her to be in that crowd or touch other people (I think, bleeding was similar to leprosy in the law?). So Jesus cleansed her, allowing her to re-enter the religious community

      @@covenantvid Well, thank you. I just wanna make one other point that a lot of people are Not familiar with when it comes to slavery within the bible. The laws governing non-Hebrew slaves were more harsh than those governing Hebrew slaves: non-Hebrew slaves could be owned permanently, and bequeathed to the owner's children, whereas Hebrew slaves were treated as servants, and were released after six years of service or the occurrence of a jubilee year.

    Your not very learned in Daniel 8-12. What made Jerusalem desolate from Aug. 21, 174 bc to Dec. 8, 168 bc was a Helenistic illegitimate High Priest installed through bribes and politics. Dan. 9:27 the abominations was 40 years of the Jews making unacceptable animal sacrifices after JESUS declared them finished. Dan. 12:11 will be the Jews setting up an altar on the Temple Mt to restart the sacrifices on the Temple Mt. If in Judea and you see the Jews setting up an altar run don't look back the 70th week has begun.

    The book of Revelation was Jesus warning of the rise and fall of Islam. *4 horsemen = the 4 Caliphates *the mark is the Islamic Shahada worn on the right wrist or forehead! Via printed bandanna. The Shahada denies both the Father and the Son, and was finalized in 666 ad, which is the number of man, gods Calendar doesn’t count the years, mans Calendar does. *Why them 7 churches? Ask yourself what tribulations did they historically face, and when! Did any make it to today? Once you see it, you can see WW2 God shortened them days……. Trust me you cant unsee all this once you walk this down thru history. Traditional interpretations always pushes 99% of the book of Revelation into the always fuzzyfuzzy future. Isn’t that convenient for Satan, and ever wonder why the only group of “humans” that are still cutting the throats of those that reject Islam, they always seem to get a pass, almost like”boys will be boys”, see how they treat their neighbors in Israel. Murderers is all that comes to mind. What does the bible say about mans traditions? Who is the liar (anti-christ) he that denies the Father and the Son. Have ya ever wondered why the Holy Spirit was left out? Paul knew all about the Holy Spirit of God given to the church. He knew Mohammed would be unable to read or write, ( his right eye would be blind, his right arm would be useless) Ive tried to pass what GOD has aloud me to understand, if this is of God, then it will sprout wings and be shared amongst the “church”, May God bless us all, and all the glory goes to God, who loves us still!❤
